A New Year

So this is my first day back to work after being off since December 19th at noon! I cannot tell you what it felt like when the alarm went off this morning....I think it is the first time since the 19th....it probably didn't know what was happening either!

Christmas was nice, quiet and worry free! Went to Mark and Mel's to ring in the New Year. I think that was the first New Years in many years that I have not been asleep when the clock rolled onto 12:00! It was storming when I left around 1:30 and continued to storm through the night. When I got up on New Years Day...I had to wade snow to my knees to get out of my driveway.....I walked to my Mom and Dad's and helped them to prepare the New Years Dinner. Uncle Jack and Aunt Grace were planning to attend...but the storm kept them away! I spent the day with Mom and Dad and then home again!

On Saturday evening, I got word that I have a new cousin in Florida! Madalynn Avery weighed in at 7lbs 5 ounces. A beautiful sister for Ethan! I wish I could meet them personally...but the pictures help a little! Congratulations to T&A! :-)
