A Whole Person!

This may sound a little funny...but today, I feel like a whole person again! And the difference in today you ask? Well, I got up this morning, got ready for work and went out to the yard and got in MY VAN! See for the past week and a half or so, my van has been utilized by missionaries (:-)

I have used my Dad's car, my father-in-law's truck, been offered Manumanums Car. Have used my hoofs (WOW...didn't know I was an animal did you?)...and that is all well and good and honestly, I didn't mind not having my vehicle.....but I didn't realize how much I had missed it until I went out this morning and got in it and felt whole again! LOL And really, without my vehicle, I had a really quiet time over Christmas because I was limited to what I could do...so it was very restful. I will honestly say that the only thing that I didn't do, over Christmas, that I wanted to was visit a couple of people (sorry Wendy and Marie!)...that's what happens when you don't have a vehicle that is all your own! LOL

It is also amazing how the phrase "out of sight, out of mind" applied in this situation as well. When returning my father-in-law's truck to him yesterday, I asked my dad to meet me with the van. When I arrived to the street that my in-laws (or out-laws! :-) live on, I realized that my dad had been driving in front of me the whole time, in MY VAN, and I hadn't noticed! LOL

So today, I am a whole woman again! Watch out world!
